Almost Missed Today's Secrets

I've chosen this secret today not because it's anything profound or that it's one which I could have written but because I like the message and it's colourful. I was almost convinced that there would be no new secrets today. I checked at least three times before they came up, and I finally got to the visitor counter to see that I was number 180,992,978. If you ever read a secret about the visitor counter, you'll know I wrote it. lol
We had an emergency meeting of the flat owners of my building yesterday. Nine showed up including myself. If you've read my 'About Me', you'll know that I've lived most of my adult life in Spain. I have yet to become accustomed to how they can shout and throw out insults at one another. It was a bit funny because a young couple attended for the first time as she had inherited the flat from her father. The young man couldn't believe how everyone agreed to disagree and rudely at that. He'll learn! Two hours of torture and I came away with a headache. This has to end somewhere.
Hope everybody is up for a good week. I might get the chance to post again in the next few days, but I don't want to leave before saying what wonderful weather we've had this week. Jacket weather! Take care everybody.

  2. I like this message too. It's written with a nice '60's' flair as well. You posted a secret? lol. I do have to get there. I believe we had great weather last week, today is a downer but clearing and back to high 80's on Monday! Ugh, don't want that, but changing fast enough.
    Have a wonderful Monday hun.

  4. Sorry, I didn't mean to make it sound like I've posted a secret on Post Secret. I haven't - yet. I just enjoy seeing how many people have visited the site during the week. Of course, the main object is reading the secrets - some are funny and some are sad and some people take lots of pains in making their postcard express their sentiments clearly. One thing of which I'm sure and that's that Post Secret is therapeutic for everyone.

  5. Psssst--I got a secret.
    I haven't posted-not sure what I would say-I'm pretty open about things
    Enjoyed the post though

I think many home owners and apartment meetings can be like that--I have heard that often. Makes you wonder how anything ever gets done.

Enjoy the weather. I still am feeling the edge of summer. Going barefoot as much as I can. But I can tell in mornings and evenings--fall is not far behind.

  6. Brenda, I finally went there! Woohoo. I watched the video and got educated about it all. It's really pretty cool. It reminds me of the method of writing down wishes and/or secrets and stashing them into a little container. Once said or written, the thought is out and it becomes quite therapeutic. I tried to copy one that I was taken with but when I clicked on it, it turned itself over to the back of the postcard. I was visitor number, 181244559 lol. I checked some out on MySpace as well.
I will visit often now. Some are very sad. It's true that we all share so many of the same secrets. I did not however wish for Tom Brady to get injured, as one secret revealed...grrrrrrr! lol.
Hugs and have a good Monday.
It's very hot, extremely humid and windy and the ragweed and mold spore pollen counts are out of sight here. I have to have the a/c on and my sinus infection is screaming yet again so I'm in for the day. Tomorrow we are dipping back to normal, so they say and so I hope.
