Got Snow?

This morning when I got up to take my dog out, it was raining cats - that's why my dog doesn't like going out in the rain I've decided. She doesn't mind the dogs but oh those cats! An hour later this begins. Honestly I've never seen such big snowflakes. They're somewhat smaller now and still coming down. Thank goodness today is Sunday or there would be a real follón (mess). There might be anyway if this continues. For anybody who thinks Spain is a tropical country, I can assure you it's not though it hasn't snowed so much in Madrid for years. The last snow lasted us for 3 days. I wonder how much we'll get this time.

I've just received a comment from one of my contacts in the US who says that she has good weather where she lives but our old Kentucky homes are frozen. I sure worry about everyone there, especially those who've been without electricity for a long time, and, of course, I worry about the animals. I still can't get over that old man in Michigan who froze to death because his electricity had been cut off! Why didn't they just go into his house and ask him if he wanted them to shoot him and get it over with rather than die a slow painful death? Do you think they'll be more careful about whose electricity they disconnect in the future and can pigs look up at the sky?

Post Secret was full of goodies today and  the visitor counter was working. I was number 211,995,543. Hope I get to see next week's secrets too. I say hope because we're having our annual flat owners meeting = 1 enormous headache. I so hate having to shout. Then there are those who use it as social time. Keep your fingers crossed that I make it through this evilness without throwing off my clothes and streaking through the building.

Hope everybody has a good week and that you stay warm and safe.
