This made me giggle. However, it's worth a try, don't you think?
Fighting grime: The Tang-y toilet
You may not want to put it in your body, but it turns out that Tang is a great toilet-bowl cleaner-its sugary combination of citric acid and gritty powder works well when combating rust stains. Simply sprinkle the orange delight into your toilet bowl and let sit; after an hour or so, a normal amount of scrubbing should remove the rust. And Tang is non-toxic to boot! [Insert joke about how the Space Shuttle must have extra-clean toilets here.] *

You know....I've heard the same thing about cleaning with Coke. I wonder if it really works? I don't have Tang in my house and I don't think I'm going to buy it just to see if it's true so if anyone wants to let me know if it works or not, I'd love to hear about it!
ReplyDeleteLOL!!!! Good one, Brenda. I never knew that... Just be careful not to mix up a glass of Saniflush in the morning.... LOL!! Yes, Crystal, it's true about Coke. Coke contains a mild acid, carbonic acid, that does dissolve lots of things but usually doesn't harm our stomachs. Carbonic acid gives soft drinks their fizz. Gotta have our fizz....... and our Tang in the mornings..... hee hee hee.... Have a wonderful, tangy, fizzy, dizzy day.....
ReplyDeleteReally, a tang toilet wow, I'll have to try it sometime and I will let you know how it works LOL. I love the comment about be careful not to mix up a glass of Saniflush in the morning.
ReplyDeleteToo funny! I guess you would have the sweet smell of oranges in the loo...
ReplyDeleteLOL! I remember when Tang came out. As a matter of fact, mom and I still have a glass pitcher it was sold in from the 60s :D
ReplyDeleteAnd to think we used to drink this .!!!!
