Re: Yahoo News
Yes, I know I posted a link to an article a couple of hours ago about the woes of Yahoo. Sorry, but it stretched my page out so I deleted it. Who knows perhaps it was Yahoo's revenge on me for saying Yahoo Mail is my junk mail address. The article I refer to is one from CNET, which is under the title: 'At Yahoo, a need to hit refresh' and continues saying 'if Yahoo could be placed on a psychiatrist's couch, the Internet giant would be told it was suffering from an identity crisis' and other such truths about the once great Yahoo. Gone are the days when none of us were ashamed to shout out Ya - hoo! Now it's Ya - hell! as Deb has so recently commented. Sorry guys, your comments went down the drain too. Ciao, ciao.

I'm with you.
ReplyDeleteLOL it is my junk mail address too! I'm not there often and if I post at all I copy it before hitting submit button because 9 out of 10 times it goes "poof". I didn't read the link and probably wouldn't have anyway so no worries here!
ReplyDeleteoops it my main address...
ReplyDeleteHi Brenda.... in the future, for long link addresses, go to www.tinyurl.com.
ReplyDeleteThey will give you a 25 character link to your link. There is no charge and no registration. It's a wonderful service. [Keeps from having a page 3 miles wide. ;);) ]
Thanks for the summary of the article. I'll check it out on CNet as well.
My opinion is that Yahoo has simply grown too big and they can't handle the volume of traffic that they have, even with multiple server sites, etc....
Yes, they are a pretty pitiful example any more. I have an even stronger name for them....
"Ya-crapp" No offense meant towards you.... or anyone who reads this.
Cheers,
Ed
No seeat, Brenda ... Yahoo (or -hell?) doesn´t pass my "so-what"-test any longer ... I just keep my 360 page open to keep in touch with a few friends that so far refused to follow me here ... LOL
ReplyDeleteYahoo is not as good as it used to be, but I still use it as some friends are still there.
